ABOUT US
We are a 40+ member interdisciplinary group that designs, builds and tests high performance electric vehicles, for Formula Student competitions around the world. In our 13 year's of history, we have emerged as India's Best Formula Student team, and are now pushing the limits of innovation not just for the track, but also for the booming national EV industry. Based in the Centre for Innovation at IIT Madras, we aspire to be a platform for development, validation and dissemination of technology through the Automotive Industry.
IIT MADRAS
IIT Madras is a National Institute of Eminence founded to fix the fundamental problem that the Indian education system was facing - the gap between theoretical learning and practical experience. Since obtaining its charter from the Parliament of India in 1961, it has established itself as a premier center of research, consultancy, and technological development and has strived to bridge the gap by bringing harmony to the worlds of theory and practice.
IITM's focus has been on the advancement of knowledge through education and research in both Pure and Applied Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Humanities. IITM has emerged as a market leader in the unique space of leveraging technology to drive social impact through its CSR collaborations. With 140+ CSR partners and CSR projects worth Rs. 200+ crores in the past few years, the Institute has been pioneering technology-driven advancement.
